I [Heart] Crafts and Snow

Life has been busy recently. These photos are from the ice we had about 10 days ago. After 20 minutes I got all the ice off my car and went to the gym to jog a mile for the first time in my life. It felt great and I am so excited to be making progress.
After jogging I made my way into town to take my friends from More Than A Meal that out to lunch and to the grocery store. It was so special to celebrate with them that they now have money to buy the groceries they need. We watched these kids sled down the hill by East High School. Little did we know that we would have a surprise snow the next week. [pictures at the end of this post]

This weekend I crafted for probably 20 hours. I have two awesome friends who helped a ton on Saturday. I am so excited about selling these crafts as part of my Kingdom Assignment. I hope to sell as much as possible at the Bake Sale, but will be selling the remaining items to everyone I know and in an Etsy shop that I plan to set up next week.
Our Valentine's themed gifts include heart shaped crayons and decorations.

And of course we made a collection of wooden initials. Here is a sample of the 36 letters we made this weekend. I'm still working on some ceramic crafts at the pottery studio this week, but it will come together!

The Perseverance of the Saints: Who Dat?
The Hills hosted a great night of fellowship to watch the Saints win their first SuperBowl. Lots of good food, conversation, and commercials, what more can you want?

And then I woke up to this today:
Beautiful! Not easy to drive in, so I turned around and came back home this morning, but I did go in a little while this afternoon.
